By drawing in cool air through the bottom and passing the air through electric heating coils, warm air rises from the top and heats the room by convection. • Fan-forced wall heaters - Electric wall heaters warm air with an electric heating element and then radiate that heat back into the room with a reflector; a fan also moves air through the heating system. Often wall heaters are installed on interior walls.
• Ceiling heat panels - Mounted to the ceiling, these heat panels preserve wall and floor space, and are ideal for spot heating. The electric panels generate radiant energy, warming the surfaces below; most of the heat is felt when standing or sitting beneath the panels.
