Electric heating installation:

Keeping cozy no matter where you work and play

Do you like to tinker in your garage or detached workshop? Is your game room addition a fun place to play? If it’s an unheated space, our guess is that on a cold Minnesota winter’s day, your answer is a resounding, "No." The good news is that electric heating systems can warm home additions, garages, and out-buildings when extending your home’s existing HVAC system is not an option.

So, if you’re interested in making your work or play space comfortable year-round, let us help. We can install:

  • Electric baseboard heaters - These systems are installed along the base of your exterior walls. By drawing in cool air through the bottom and passing the air through electric heating coils, warm air rises from the top and heats the room by convection. Many homeowners use baseboard heaters below windows that allow heat loss through the glass.
  • Fan-forced wall heaters - Electric wall heaters warm air with an electric heating element and then radiate that heat back into the room with a reflector; a fan also moves air through the heating system. Often wall heaters are installed on interior walls.
  • Ceiling heat panels - Mounted to the ceiling, these heat panels preserve wall and floor space, and are ideal for spot heating. The electric panels generate radiant energy, warming the surfaces below; most of the heat is felt when standing or sitting beneath the panels.
