Need a replacement thermostat? There are many types of thermostats on the market today, but the key function is still the same, and that is to keep you comfortable and your home warm in winter, cool in summer. A thermostat can do this in many ways some being controlling temperature, humidity, indoor air quality (by the use of the fan running). Some other features that can make you comfortable are programming the system to operate when you want it to, making you feel comfortable when you are home and saving you energy when you are not (programmable thermostat). There are thermostats on the market now that can tell when your furnace has a problem, when to change the filter (based on static pressure) and can turn on your AC based on humidity (Bryant’s Evolution Control).
