Humidifiers

Dry air can negatively impact your health and the condition of your home. Respiratory and allergy symptoms may increase. Porous materials, such as furniture, woodwork, and hardwood floors may warp or become cracked and brittle as the moisture is drawn out by the dry air. You may feel the need to set your thermostat at a higher temperature because dry air feels cooler, causing an increase in heating costs. A whole-house humidifier works in connection with your forced air heating and cooling system to maintain a proper humidity level in the home.

Whole-house humidification offers many benefits, including:

  • Total indoor comfort with automatic humidity control
  • Decrease in cold, flu, or other respiratory ailments, including allergy and asthma symptoms, that can be intensified by dry air
  • Prevention of damage to your home caused by dry air, such as cracks in walls, woodwork, and floors
  • Prevention of static electric damage to sensitive electronics
  • Lower energy costs
  • Installation of control options for use with mobile device(s)

Options are available for homes with boilers as well.

Stafford Home Service offers whole-house humidifier installation services. We install trusted brands including Bryant, Honeywell, Aprilaire, and Generalaire.
