Are you a knowledgeable HVAC installation specialist looking for an opportunity to join a reputable, locally-owned company with a fun and supportive work environment? We’re seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join the service-focused Stafford Home Service Inc. team in a full-time role. Qualified candidates will have experience and proficiency in functional design, installation, and safety best practices of all HVAC systems, including gas and refrigeration piping, as well as exceptional communication and customer service capabilities.   • Job type: full-time
  • Minimum years of education required: high school diploma/GED
  • Specialty: primarily residential, limited commercial
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Competitive wage based on experience
  • Schedule: 6:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. M – F
  • Overtime is offered when available and may be required at times
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to exceed customer expectations
  • Hold and maintain HVAC competency cards in Minneapolis/St. Paul is a plus but not required
  • Minimum of two years of HVAC installation experience
  • Proficient in functional design and installation of all HVAC systems, including gas and refrigeration piping
  • Understanding of safety best practices for each job
  • Ability to train helpers/apprentices and work as a team
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record
  • Able to pass drug tests and background checks
  • Residential experience with older homes a plus
  • Maintain Stafford’s commitment to service and satisfaction in all facets of daily work
  • Communicate with customers, team members, and management with professionalism and clarity
  • Successfully complete installations in a timely manner and with a constant focus on customer care
  • Lead and mentored apprentices in developing their knowledge/skills while maintaining a high standard of service and craftsmanship
  • Clearly and thoroughly complete all necessary documentation of each job upon completion
  • Actively participate in company meetings and training, as well as state-required education/training
  • Maintain clean presentation of a self and company-provided vehicle
  • Help track inventory and quality of parts, tools, and other equipment
